Hayley and Keith were plotting an experience for Suzie (Aunty,) Hayley (Cousin,) Bronwyn (Sister) and I to mark Suzie’s 75th year. (January was proposed and locked in as

Left Dad’s about 8:30 ish and arrived home at 1:30.The Speedo shows 6172km travelled. All up a wonderful trip. A slow dawdle to start to allow the wet weather to dry out the roads further north and an opportunity to catch my breath from the last minute packing and preparation then a fun drive to

The builders turned up at Dad’s at 7:30 to start replacing the pagola that blew over on Christmas Eve. We got to finish replacing the rubbers on Kate’s shock absorbers so she could get on her way to Canberra via Murrumbateman where she has booked accommodation tonight, before collecting her van to continue her trip

Woken up by Mary at 6:20 as my phone was charging in the car. As always we were treated to a stunning sunrise over the Diamantina River and wetlands behind our campsite. We had our 1:20min scenic flight at 7:30 in a Grand Caravan, 7 of us plus 2 couples made up the flight. Talia

Didn’t wake till 6:30 and no moisture in the air last night which assisted a surprisingly dry pack up this morning. The sunrise this morning was captured in a cloudy sky and as always ever changing colours were just captivating. Pancakes for breakfast this morning as we have a shorter day ahead
