The second leg of our trip was a short 6 hours or so. Managed a couple of movies and some sleep.

Immigration look like a nightmare with very long queueing our Disneyland according to Suzie.
Lines moved quickly, no issue getting through until baggage carousel . My bag was there immediately on arrival and we watched it go round three or four times without seeing Suzieโs and we were starting to get that rise of panic. There was one blue bag that looked too old, and weโd dismissed it a couple of time but I turned it over and it was hers, unlike us its trip was not so smooth.
As we walked out straight in front of us was a man holding a sign with our names on it, and he walked us a short walk to a very nice looking black Kia Staria.

About 75 minutes into our hotel. Lots of water and lots of bridges. Lots of clusters of tall buildings and rather smoggy too.
Hotel Lotte Seoul is pretty swanky.

We checked in, got sorted and headed to the bar for the customary G&T before venturing out to find something to eat.

After crossing a busy street we spied a bit of a lane with lots of food places. Predominately Korean bbq like Iโve seen in Melbourne with the air things from the roof. However we saw this tiny place that was doing the cooking over a pot of briquette like things. So we braved it. Korean bbq sitting on a mat (not so comfy for old bodies!) and a lovely Korean woman cooked and served us and helped us know what to do. No English AT all and only two groups of blokes and one smaller three with a woman. It was sensational food – a lovely spicy โsaladโ and sauces and leaves and garlic, cucumber and chilli too. It started with a clear cold soup which has what we think was daikon in it – very soothing with the spices.

Our lady pulled out her phone to ask where we were from. Ah I think translator app is going to be our best friend !

The large pot of coals heating outside then transferred to a smaller pot to place in the table.

The name translates to Wild Fire Sirloin.
Then it was home to phaff and sleep.
