The current 2023 trip, has been a long time in the planning. Myself and 3 mates are heading for Antarctica and South America.

  • A slow and easy start. We had decided to walk into the Laguna Nimez along the lake but time spent over breaky changed plans. We caught the free taxi in a little after 10am. Paid to enter the Laguna Nimez, basically a reserve for birdlife and flora where we hoped to get a good look

  • The views from our rooms are pretty damn good. Sun is getting up late around 7.30-8.00 and we get some good light. There has been a full moon too which looks speccy hiding behind and peeking out from the clouds. Clouds here are also amazing to watch, lots at different levels and changing and moving

  • Bed was good. Our room has huge windows with view over the lake. Very hot in daytime but ok at night. Slept solidly and a little after 7.30 we noticed some colour in the sky. I got up and dressed to take a few shots. The moon was still up looking pretty good behind clouds
