3.4.2026 – Day 1 – The Girls International Whirlwind Restaurant Tour. Jan. 2026. 

Off and racing today we meet at the Park Royal Hotel at Tullarmarine Airport, ready for an early departure tomorrow. 

My day started with an early lunch with Sue and Gloria and a lift to the Moe station. Sue and Glor came to the platform and waved me off (a bit slack I should have taken a photo.) 

Onto the train at 12:44 and off I go. 

Vline on time and rolling through the green of Gippsland.

Meanwhile K is keeping the What’s App humming – Suzie is prepped and ready – cab is waiting downstairs as I pass through Pakenham. 

Suzie is packed and ready to roll out- Drinks in hand – gotta love that.

Bronwyn has helpers for her final preparations.

Off the train – no complaints about VLine today – on time to the minute and free for weekends in January.

We eventually found the drop off point and made it to the Park Royal Hotel.

After contacting reception to determine how to get from our room on eighth floor to Suzie and Hayley’s room on seventh floor- it was time for bubbles and chips.
Cheers, for the first of many I would expect.
Fantastic views out to the runways. Could become a plane spotting nerd.
Bar snacks for tea tonight.
They were yum and enough. Been eating non stop for too long!!!

We all arrived to our Park Royal hotel, pop the bubbles, do some admin in preparation for Bali customs, dinner, shower/bath and into bed by 8:30.

A little more plane spotting and a swish looking sunset. Shame we won’t see the Wolf Moon rising.
