Madi’s Manoeuvres. Phaffing at Greenvale/Kate departs/Mary & Phil depart. Day 25 – 25 June 2024.

The builders turned up at Dad’s at 7:30 to start replacing the pagola that blew over on Christmas Eve.

We got to finish replacing the rubbers on Kate’s shock absorbers so she could get on her way to Canberra via Murrumbateman where she has booked accommodation tonight, before collecting her van to continue her trip around the country.

I finished pruning the grapevines.

Mary and Phil rearranged their car and rooftop for return home and left about 11:45 ish.

Dad and I did a few odd jobs and got ready for lunch and trip to town.

Took Dad to town, then home and Annette visited for a cuppa before heading to the Rich River Golf Club for tea with Dad and the boys.

PS. When we were at Big Red a small plane buzzed the sand dune. I was up top actually digging Brian out after he ‘bellied out’ on one of the more challenging options. Mary Morgan was videoing Col making his run and managed to capture the plane. If you look closely you can see me in the sand beside Brian’s car, we had no clue about the plane and I swear from where I was it almost skimmed his roof rack. Anyway here are Marys pics she downloaded last more.
