Madi’s Manoeuvres. Phaffing at Greenvale/Echuca. Day 24 – 24 June 2024.

A nice brisk start to the day with some frost about.

Phil and Mary were up and about this morning as there was work to be done to tend to Kate’s car. Phil was keen to replace the rubbers in the new shock absorbers and try and repair the damage to the spare tyre carrier that was bent when Kate backed into an electricity pole at Marree.

Phil figuring out the task. This was early in the day.

We also needed to dry tents and awnings. Nice to have sunshine and some wind to assist.

So Phil made a start and Mary and Kate headed to town for the parts. Unable to source the parts it was an afternoon trip to Bendigo for Mary and Kate to pick up shock rubbers from Pedders.
Phil and Dad and I phaffed with the back door/spare tyre holder on Kate’s car and readied for the shock rubbers replacement.

Just near Dad’s shed (two shipping containers) there is a lovely Lemon Scented Gum and it was flowering.

Wish I had smell-o-vision. The lemon scent when you crush the leaves is something else!!

Dad and I also pruned the grapevine.

A beautiful sunset and time to head into town for tea – The Curry Club with Mary Marwood also. A very nice meal and home for a cuppa and bed.
