Up for showers, packed up all the tech we had charging and breaky.
Not picked up till 10 for our 1:40pm flight to Sydney (14 hours)
The airport was painless.
It’s a Qantas flight and we had back row seats.
Lots of movies to watch and a tiny sleep.

With the time change we lose the best part of the 24th as we arrived into Sydney, went through customs with our bits to declare (which were not an issue but got us the shorter line) and bus between International and Domestic terminals then an hour or so wait before finally arriving into Melbourne at about 10:30ish.
The service on board was very good. Kudos to Qantas team.
When seeking a taxi we had a bloke offer us a taxi before we got outside. Turned out he was a private car guy. Nice old Statesman I think. A bit of a rip off but very comfy ride to our hotel The Porter Club -Kinson on St Kilda Rd. We arrived around midnight. 5 hours till wake up for the Dawn Anzac Day service at the Shrine in the morning. 🥱 🥱
