A short break away. 19 February 2023.

As has become a tradition, we’ve headed north to Echuca for Riverboats Music Festival.

Due to the Murray and Campaspe River floods of October/November 2022 the location has moved from the Aquatic Reserve to half the cricket/footy ground at Vic Park.

We have a few less takers this year and our crew has reduced to the camping crew. Three Dundek’s – Stef, Meg and Milani, 3 Willshire Morgan’s- Mary, Phil and Kate, Steve and I.

We are all staying at Dad’s.

The concert has featured a mix of newcomers (a few who’ve stated this is their biggest crowd ever) and a couple of bigger names such as Spiderbait.

The line up over three days.

We’ve managed to create our own shade using our umbrellas and this has taken the pressure off being lined up early.

It’s been hot, hot, hot. But perfect days and nights.

Late nights are normal as we sit around and drink and talk with Dad till the wee hours. Fun but tiring.

Here’s some pics to tell the story of our time in Echuca at Riverboats in 2023.
